This is a mixed set of official French State pewter measuring jugs, known as “Pichets”. This means that the set was regularly certified by an inspector to ensure that customers were not served short measures! Each time the set was certified it was stamped with a letter, which you can see in the photos. 

The measure is engraved on the front of each jug, with the exception of one whose engraving is faded.

Visible brand names on the bottom of two jugs are Bremontier and Grassin Villardry Angers. A hallmark is visible on the bottom of some jugs.
